What a journey Bedroom 1 has been. When we moved into Park Hall we noticed that there was lots of the original coving missing from this beautiful old building. Three years ago we made the decision to have made replica coving, in the traditional method of using plaster, installed into all the rooms where it was missing or broken. We didn't have the means to paint it at the time, luckily the coving in its original state is fairly off white so you couldn't tell the difference. This week Bedroom 1 (which we've always called the Rose's Room) finally had her coving painted. What a feeling this has given us, joy - with a little stress!😆😂 What should we call this room? When we replace the fire door to it we would like to move away from Bedroom numbers to names. Answers on a postcard!
